Gallery 48 is a natural light studio rental located in Rochester, New York. Our studio offers large windows, beautiful decor, and a wide variety of props. The space is designed to provide an inclusive, welcoming space for local photographers, videographers, and other creatives to host sessions and develop their passion! Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out, our studio is the perfect place to capture your best work.
Owned and operated by two local female photographers, Gallery 48 is always looking to add new things to keep our studio fresh and exciting.

Our mission
Gallery 48 was founded after we met at a styled shoot and shared big dreams of creating a unique studio space in Rochester, NY. After struggling to find the perfect location for our shoots, we saw a need for a studio that would cater to the needs of local photographers and creatives.
With a vision of building a community and bringing together like-minded artists, Gallery 48 was born. Our goal is to provide a beautiful and versatile space for all your session needs. We can’t wait to see what you dream up in this beautiful space!

Owner of SLZ Photography, Shauna specializes in senior portraits, boudoir, and weddings!
Owner of Meghan Lynn Photography, Meghan specializes in weddings and couples and boudoir.
April is our studio manager, April works a full-time job but is the main point of contact for all things Gallery 48.
Yes, pets are allowed in the studio. We do request they remain off the furniture to help ensure the studio stays clean. You will be responsible for any damage or potential cleaning fee at the expense of your clients' pets.
Are pets allowed in the studio?
There is a lock-box on the door to the studio that will open to your personalized pin on the day of your session. You will recieve an email at least one hour before your session with this information. Please be sure to save that email somewhere safe so you can access it when arriving to the studio!
How do I get into the studio?

Where can I see more photos of the studio set-up?
FAQs
If you need to reschedule your session, there will be a $25 rescheduling fee that must be paid before booking a new date. There are no reschedules allowed during the Christmas Sets. Please contact us via email for all reschedules and cancellations.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
Small items such as the blanket ladder, stools, pillows and blankets can be moved. Larger furniture items such as the couches, bed, table, and chairs cannot be moved. Props are absolutely welcome! Please be courteous to other photographers and make sure everything is put back in its place and no items are left behind.
Can I move the furniture in the studio? Can I bring props of my own?
April is available to answer any questions via email leading up to the day of your session! If there is an emergency, you can contact April via text or phone call. Please be courteous as she works a full-time job and cannot be available to answer phone calls for non-emergent questions.
